The combination of simplicity and character by adding a running stitch to a classic design.

As an anecdote, the women's double tour strap originates from men's wardrobes, specifically those of fighter pilots. The comfort of a 1940s fighter plane cockpit is the opposite of that of a contemporary airliner: no pressurization, and certainly no heating. As a result, our brave heroes would bundle up in thick suits covered with padded jackets. Needless to say, it was out of the question for a pilot to roll up his sleeve to check his watch, especially while wearing gloves! Thus, pilots started wearing their watches over their coats, requiring a longer strap than usual. To continue wearing their watches on the ground, pilots had to wrap the strap around their wrists one more time. Before becoming the elegant women's double tour strap we know today, it primarily served a utilitarian function.
